LS608 - Subwoofer - 800w, 18 inch
Yorkville LS608 Subwoofer
All élite subwoofers are horn-loaded except for the LS1004 which is a bass reflex design. Suitable for touring or fixed installations, the cabinets are constructed of 15mm 11-ply Baltic Birch with heavy internal bracing for reduced resonance and better durability. All enclosures are covered in a black carpet covering and incorporate metal corner protectors, rugged curved anti-resonant metal grilles, and 1/4" or Speakon™ input connectors. An optional finish of black ultrathane paint (LS608B) is also available. Additionally, the Speakon™ connectors feature a configuration switch which allows instant reversal of Speakon™ jack pinouts for easy single wire hook-up using optional four wire Speakon™ cables.
The LS608 and LS808 include flush, top-mounted stand adapters so that optional speaker poles may be used to mount full range enclosures above – avoiding the need for separate tripod stands. The LS608 and LS808 both feature dual, side-mounted, inset carry handles making it easier for two people to carry them. The LS808, LS1004 and LS1208 have tilt-back wheels and top/rear mounted corner handles for better maneuverability and stacking (wheels don't fall in the handles!!).
