PS-8
The Nexo PS-8 Loudspeaker System is the latest addition to Nexos acclaimed
PS Series; versatile, compact, full-range loudspeakers tailored for
a wide range of touring an installed sound reinforcement applications.
Like all Nexo products, the PS8 loudspeaker and optional LS400 Subwoofer
are designed to work with advanced electronic processors, guaranteeing
consistent performance and reliability of the highest standard.
The Nexo LS400 Subwoofer extends the usable range of the PS8 Loudspeaker
to 40 Hz, providing high performance, high power output (131 dB Peak)
in an extremely compact, light weight package. The new Nexo designed
shielded Neodymium 12" driver makes the LS400 usable next to
sensitive video equipment. The PS8 TD’s integral sub section and combined
signal (PS8 and LS400) Speakon wiring ensure cost effective and simple
system implementation.
The Nexo PS8 AMP is a dedicated amplifier that allows the PS8 Loudspeaker
and optional LS400 Subwoofer to achieve exceptional performance from
such compact packages. Like all Nexo processors, the PS8 AMP provides
precision dynamic, voice coil temperature and diaphragm displacement
protection through the use of selective Voltage Controlled Equalisers
(VCEQs), reducing levels only at frequencies when and where necessary.
The PS-8TD Controller is an advanced analogue processor that allows
the PS8 Loudspeaker and optional LS400 Subwoofer to achieve exceptional
performance from such compact packages. The PS8 TD provides crossover,
sensed amplifier control and system equalisation optimised for the
PS8 and LS400. One PS8 TD has two inputs and three outputs, L, R and
summed sub out, minimising installation cost and complexity.
The Nexo PS10 Loudspeaker can be safely driven with over 500 Watts
of amplifier power, yet is only half the weight and volume of standard
trapezoidal systems. The dispersion, architecture and weight balance
of the PS10 Loudspeaker are designed to provide both exceptional PA
and stage monitor performance from a single product without compromise.
The 2-way passive 8Ohm design uses a single amp channel to deliver
bi-amped performance for less money, space and complexity.
The Nexo LS500 Subwoofer extends the usable range of the PS10 Loudspeaker
to 38 Hz, providing high performance and high power output (134 dB
Peak) in an extremely compact, light weight package. The PS10 TDController’s
integral sub section and combined signal (PS10 and LS500) Speakon
wiring ensure cost effective and simple system implementation. One
LS500 is typically used with 2 PS10 loudspeakers, additional units
may be used for an enhanced effect.
The Nexo PS10AMP is a dedicated amplifier that allows the PS10 Loudspeaker
and optional LS500 Subwoofer to achieve exceptional performance from
such compact packages. The integrated PS10 TDController provides crossover,
sensed amplifier control and system equalisation optimised for the
PS10 and LS500.
Nexo PS-10TD Active Controller for PS-10 and LS-500
The PS10 TDController is an advanced analogue processor that allows
the PS10 Loudspeaker and optional LS500 Subwoofer to achieve exceptional
performance from such compact packages. The PS10 TD provides crossover,
sensed amplifier control and system equalisation optimised for the
PS10 and LS500. One PS10 TD has two inputs and three outputs, L, R
and summed sub out, minimising installation cost and complexity.
The Nexo PS15 Loudspeaker can be safely driven with over 1000 Watts
of amplifier power, yet it has a small volume and reduced weight.
The dispersion, architecture and weight balance of the PS15 Loudspeaker
are designed to provide both exceptional PA and stage monitor performance
from a single product without compromise. The 2-way passive 8Ohm design
uses a single amplifier channel in passive mode to deliver bi-amped
performance for less money, space and complexity.
The Nexo PS-15BASS is a passive box which can be simply linked in
parallel with a PS-15 or run off a separate amplifier post the controller.
It is not intended as a true sub, so it provides low frequency extension
and punch in the situations where very low frequencies are not required.
When used in conjunction with the LS-1200, it enhances overall system
output. Dimensions differ from the PS-15 in depth (457mm) and the
multiple angle is replaced by a trapzoid.
The Nexo LS1200 Subwoofer extends the usable range of the PS15 Loudspeaker
to 29 Hz, providing high performance and high power output (135 dB
Peak) in an extremely compact, light weight package. The PS15 TDController’s
integral sub section and combined signal (PS15 and LS1200) Speakon
wiring ensure cost effective and simple system implementation. One
LS1200 is typically used with 2 PS15 loudspeakers, additional units
may be used for an enhanced effect.
Nexo PS-15TD Active Controller for PS-15 and LS1200.
2 in, 3 out can be configured for conventional left/right with mono
sub operation, or optionally in active mode to run a PS-15 and LS-1200
as a mono three way system. The ability to run the controller in either
crossover or overlap mode is a major bonus in many applications.
The Nexo NX242 Digital TD Controller provides all the functions of
the conventional Nexo analogue TD controllers combined with all the
advantages of the latest digital technology. The Nexo NX242 is an
uprated version of the now discontinued NX241. As with the 241, it
provides crossover, sensed amplifier control and system alignment,
along with peak limiter, displacement and temperature protection on
every channel.
