Nexo loudspeaker systems
NEXO are among Europe's top three sound reinforcement loudspeaker
manufacturers. Based in Paris, the company was founded in 1979 by
Eric Vincenot and Michael Johnson. Both are still actively involved
with the company and Eric maintains the unique role of Chairman
and R&D Director.
What separates NEXO from the competition is an innovative, integrated
systems approach to loudspeaker research and development. Each new
product/system begins with sophisticated computer simulations, executed
by our highly specialised proprietary software. After the design
specification stage, the entire electro-acoustic signal chain is
thoroughly modeled and product performance rigorously evaluated
to maximize system performance in an incredibly short time frame.
NEXO systems truly exceed the sum of their parts. The results are
stunning.
PS SERIES
PS Series systems are engineered to maintain
the inherent coherency of two-way designs (the minimum number of
drivers required for full-range reproduction) in the broadest practical
range of applications. Advanced cone transducers deliver maximum
output and thermal stability. The unique, square mouth PS Series
horn, with its asymmetrical progressive pattern, allows user-rotation
of PS Series coverage patterns to focus acoustical energy on listeners
and away from reflective surfaces.
Active Full Range Processing
NEXO R&D works closely with transducer suppliers to optimize driver
performance. We've applied this intimate knowledge of our transducers
to develop advanced analog and digital signal processing that protects
and optimizes each PS Series driver without introducing audible
coloration. NEXO TD (Temperature Displacement) Controllers are linked
to amplifier outputs via sense lines for rock-solid system protection
at extremely high output levels.
In many applications, their exceptional power-to-size ratios and
efficent control of acoustic energy combine to enable a single PS
system to replace an array of less advanced two-way loudspeakers.
Flexible Configurations
PS Series systems include full-range systems, subbasses and low
frequency cabinets. Analog or digital TDcontrollers or intelligent
PSAmps integrate electronics into various configurations. Hardware
options are engineered to allow different mounting positions in
fixed and portable applications. No matter what your challenge,
PS Series offers the right solution.
