Nexo NX242 Digital Controller for all Nexo loudspeaker
systems
The NX242 Digital TD controller is a proprietary advanced digital
processor that allows NEXO loudspeaker systems to achieve exceptional
performance and reliability. The NX242 provides crossover, sensed-amplifier
control and system alignment acoustically matched to each NEXO GEO,
PS and ALPHA component. NX242’s complex software algorithms combine
this calibrated data with sensed voltage and current measurements
to precisely control each driver's temperature and displacement, ensuring
all NEXO systems deliver optimum sonic performance.
The Nexo NX242 is an uprated version of the now discontinued NX241.
As with the 241, it provides crossover, sensed amplifier control and
system alignment, along with peak limiter, displacement and temperature
protection on every channel.
The NX242 is mandatory for use with Alpha / Alpha-E and all systems
in the Geo range but can be used with all current Nexo loudspeaker
systems instead of their proprietary analogue controllers.
The new NX242 also supports Ethersound Digital Audio too using the
new optional modules.
